Job Summary
The Analyst V will be responsible for driving documentation and process improvements, maintaining and configuring applications, and/or performing support activities for Technology Services. They will play a pivotal role in identifying and implementing process, tool, and measurement opportunities to improve the team’s service, as well as training technology and business users on how to engage to improve the user experience.

Key Accountabilities
  • Facilitate daily operational activities and measure process quality and compliance.
  • Employ statistical methods to analyze and configure applications to improve the customer experience and provide practical solutions to problems.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement automation and continuous improvement ideas supporting ITIL-aligned processes.
  • Partner with business users, process owners, architecture and development teams to ensure effective application use.
  • Lead, track, and communicate status of cross-team initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with technology teams, business teams, and vendors in order to promote alignment between functions.
  • Design and create metrics for improved measurement and reporting.
  • Create and update documentation.
  • Understand and apply Vistra value drivers to identify and deliver innovative value creation ideas.
  • Train the TS and end user community to increase adoption and communication of TS processes.
  • Apply understanding of financial principles to team initiatives.
  • Provide domain guidance to less experienced team members.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
  • 5-7 years professional experience in a technology or business field
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, CSM, AWS)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, track, and communicate status of cross-team initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities for automation and continuous improvement of ITIL-aligned processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and update process documentation.
  • Ability to learn quickly, be self-motivated to improve knowledge and tackle new challenges
  • Exceptional organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail required
  • Proficient at creating leadership-level communications and presenting to and interacting with leaders
  • Must demonstrate an energetic, hands-on, enthusiastic, results-oriented approach as a team player, capable of adding significant value to the existing team.

  • Exhibit superior execution when acting as a liaison between the internal business organization(s), development and testing team(s), project management organization(s), and senior management; often across multiple platforms and/or teams
  • Facilitate User Acceptance testing efforts; provide acceptance criteria and use cases as well as assist with any business expectations or questions during the business' execution
  • Accurately understand and articulate intimate business, domain, and industry knowledge; often across multiple platforms and/or teams
  • Proactively work and drive towards effective solutions through thorough analysis, team facilitation, and strong documentation
  • Champion requirement elicitation and documentation for all team efforts including, but not limited to: system/screen design, functional requirements and/or Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria, and post production defect and incident tracking.
  • Determine and incorporate appropriate documentation methods to effectively express requirements through textual formats, visual data/processing modeling, UI mockups, workflow process diagrams, data presentation, etc.
  • Perform duties independently, efficiently, and with quality results through strong time management, organization, and prioritization.
  • Promote growth through self-directed learning and available training participation as well as provide mentorship for less experienced team members regarding BA skills, analysis/documentation/communication techniques, domain knowledge, etc.
