We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing IT team in either Garland, TX or Cannon Falls, MN!

Purpose Statement:
Be responsible to help support our growth by supporting internal customers by gathering, analyzing, and presenting solutions and project managing priorities. You'll be effective in setting priorities and make growth related decisions. Effectively communicating to provide context to technical requirements, business strategy, and specifications to cross functional audiences is top priority. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at multiple levels of the organization. Proactive in navigating conflict and help find resolution. A natural problem solver with ability to maintain attention to detail and manage multiple initiatives with a high sense of urgency.

Essential Responsibilities
:
  • Work directly with stakeholders to understand the individual needs to support the business
  • Use skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving to overcome organizational challenges
  • Become an expert in multiple applications, processes, understanding the implications of system configuration options on functionality
  • Establish specifications for new projects by developing project goals, phases, and ROI
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to communicate and develop solutions as a team
  • Work with internal teams to document requirements using a variety of techniques like functional requirements documents, user stories, use cases, and workflow diagrams
  • Perform acceptance testing of work produced by development teams prior to making these changes available to the client
  • Interact professionally and effectively with internal customers
  • Work in a cross-functional team to achieve development goals to ensure task completion on time and with high quality
  • Interface with development teams during the life cycle providing consultation and clarifications as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned

Required Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience will be considered
  • Ability to juggle multiple initiatives and shift priorities as needed
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and creativity
  • Strong organizational, planning skills, and the ability to act as a strong but diplomatic leader to influence others
  • Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to collaborate and relate well with all individuals of all levels across varied functional areas
  • Sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently and effectively
  • Ability to identify issues and mitigate risk for projects
  • Flexible and positive disposition to work in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Familiarity with database concepts
