As the Sr. Business Analyst, you will support one or more senior leaders, GMs, or heads of business functions and their team in understanding their needs and marshalling the resources of analytics COE to develop reports, model, and ad-hoc analyzes to support their strategic agenda and decision making.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
· Gather user requirements and develop business cases for solutions, including ad-hoc analysis, advanced data models and self-service reporting tools by working with cross-functional teams· Identify opportunities to improve the information delivery mechanisms through improved processes or application of superior technology
  • Work with leaders to develop communication strategy to inform and engage their full team to understand the analytical insights and rationale for the decisions, engage colleagues to deliver on key access priorities, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with all relevant functional areas to quantify opportunities or challenges and develop action plans to realize the potential
  • Uncover commercial opportunities or challenges at the territory, region, and brand levels
  • Support data driven decision making, ensure highest level of customer service and analytics COE alignment with function needs and long term strategic goals
· Integrate and interpret outputs from various COE functions info impactful and actionable insights for business leaders· Collaborate with advanced data science, data quality, market research, and other analytics teams to deliver comprehensive analytical solutions to the businesses· Facilitate cross-functional relationships with Business, IT, and other partners to advance analytic agenda

Expected Areas of Competence
• Deep understanding of one or more functional areas of analytics (customer analytics, sales force analytics, inventory, asset management, field operations, market analytics etc.)
• Experience with reporting and analytical tools (Tableau/Base programming, Excel, or similar) • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, SAP HANA)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of information systems and technologies, data warehousing, and reporting systems to efficiently manage source data and extract for analytical purposes.
  • Expert understanding of modern data analytic techniques, tools, and approaches
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral) for interactions with C-level and SVP/VP level management• Ability to translate analytical information into succinct and impactful marketing messages
  • Ability to present to all levels of the organization, individuals, and groups as well as respond succinctly and clearly to all questions
  • Broad business understanding and ability to work cross functionally and cross culturally
• Results oriented with a proven track record of business and technical problem solving • Familiarity with core operating functions (Sales, marketing, regulatory, legal, medical, global marketing, and co-promotion partners) Outstanding Excel, PowerPoint, data management, and visualizing tools
Education/Experience Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in MIS, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology analytics positions focused on sales, inventory, customer claims data sets, or commercial and filed operations issues
