The Service Technician is responsible for all activities relating to the delivery/pick up of home medical equipment including pulling, loading truck/van, delivering the equipment, collecting copayments, educating patients on equipment usage, obtains signatures, giving patients a receipt, confirming delivery of order in the electronic equipment carried by the Technician and any other duty as assigned by supervisor related to the delivery and pickup of equipment. Technician is also responsible for maintaining delivery vehicles according to regulatory guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Positions in this function are responsible for any of the following areas:
• Facilities planning and coordination (incl building services and building engineering), security, drivers, building operations (electrical, mechanical, alarms and monitors), and warehousing operations.
• This function may also include HVAC Technicians requiring certfications as well as Data Center Technicans and Engineers. General Job Profile - Moderate work experience within own function.
• Some work is completed without established procedures.
• Basic tasks are completed without review by others.
• Supervision/guidance is required for higher level tasks. Job Scope and Guidelines - Applies knowledge/skills to activities that often vary from day to day.
• Demonstrates a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Proven solid attention to detail and professional customer service skills
• Proven skill in the operation of office equipment and smart phones
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skill
• Ability for extensive daily travel within the Agency’s service area using a company owned vehicle
• This position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor's diagnosis of disease

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of delivering home medical equipment experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of Brightree EMR system

Physical & Mental Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 100 pounds of force
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery
• Ability to properly drive and operate a company vehicle
• Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing
• Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving
