• Review upcoming projects lists and see what permits are ready to be submitted and issued.
• Contact cities and counties for application process, costs, status update and to confirm jurisdiction.
• Conduct web research and phone inquiries to analyze and document utility processes for various utilities and jurisdictions.
• Complete permit applications packages and file at local building offices.
• Track permits, retrieve approved permits and submit supplemental information as needed. Maintain a schedule of permits in process to ensure timely follow-up.
• Identify common issues and develop suitable solutions and processes.
• Update notes in an internal database and spreadsheets for all related tasks and manage project status changes.
• Follow up on inquiries about project status in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
• Email and phone communication with colleagues and town/city departments to ensure projects move smoothly
• Maintain a good relationship with officials and work closely with jurisdictions on a daily basis.
• Work with all departments on the scheduling of inspections and finalization of permits.
• Work with our Project Managers for Certificate of Occupancy approvals.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent. Higher education is preferred.
• Preferred - Have industry knowledge of code requirements and jurisdiction requirements in order to answer any questions that may arise.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record according to company policy.
