Building Maintenance Technician
Sky Climber® has been designing, engineering and manufacturing suspended access equipment such as quality hoists, rigging solutions and modular work platforms for over 60 years.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the corporate office complex under the direction of the Operations Manager.
This position will be working a five-day (5 day) work week. The schedule will be Monday through Friday.

On a day-to-day basis, the Maintenance Technician will:
Performing routine maintenance and inspections around the building complex.- Repairing any broken or leaking plumbing and minor repairs. Coordinating more serious repairs with a professional upon approval of Operations Manager.
- Repairing mechanical and electrical
- Working on damaged electrical wiring or maintenance of outage or commercial lighting (internal and external).
- Maintaining the facility and repairing any areas of complex.
- Applying preventative measure to the building to reduce the risk of future problems.
- Fixing potential safety hazards.
- Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are needed.
- Light painting in building such as chips and fading as needed.
- Demonstrates good communications skills and discretion with staff.
- Maintaining trash output weekly.
- Coordinating vendors for maintenance of building as directed and needed.
- Handle any projects that arise from the direction of Operations Manager.
- Heating and air conditioning maintenance.
- Responsible for repair and upkeep of the facility.
- All other duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3 years General Maintenance Experience.
- Keep the Operations Manager informed through timely utilization of verbal and written reports of activities.
- Perform all Work Orders.
- Ability to work independently.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. daily,
