Job description
The Township of Middletown is seeking a Full Time Building Inspector to inspect new and existing buildings and structures in order to ensure compliance with the state uniform construction code. Candidate will be required to enforce same to ensure public safety, health, and welfare and perform related work as required. Must possess knowledge of structural design and analysis techniques necessary to check compliance with the State Uniform Construction Code particularly with regard to wood framing, light steel, and wall bearing systems. Possession of a valid NJ RCS UCC License and valid driver’s license is required. Middletown abides by Civil Service rules and regulations and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Pay: $57,257.00 - $80,000.00 per year
