THE POSITION:

We are looking for a Vice President to lead the Brand and Market insights team at FanDuel to drive the next chapter of our growth. This leadership role will own the strategy and execution of our customer and market insights program, partnering across the Marketing leaderships team across all verticals to drive performance. The ideal candidate has experience working with world class brands in competitive markets, is passionate about the consumer experience, and is able to articulate insights clearly to range of audiences. As a world-class Marketing Insights professional, this leader will shape the growth agenda via FanDuel customer segmentation, lead the brand and customer health measurement practice, and drive the Commercial Insights agenda needed advance our winning position in the on-line gaming business.

Reporting to the Marketing Executive Vice President, and part of the most senior marketing leadership team at FanDuel, this is a critical role that will help shape the long term strategic direction of our marketing and brands.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Direct a program of work that delivers meaningful insight to teams working across Sportsbook, Fantasy, Racing, Casino and Free-to-Play verticals
  • Manage relationships with internal and external research partners to ensure the business is using best practice to uncover insights
  • Develop the company's strategy as it relates to the awareness and use of consumer insights as a starting point for strategy development and decision making
  • Build relationships with marketing teams to understand and generate research programs to fulfill their needs
  • Drive an understanding of the importance of customer generated insight throughout the business
  • Establish regular reporting of market and competitive trends, identifying opportunities and threats across the business
  • Lead a team that will provide regular insights to the business that generate discussion and facilitate strategic and operational decision making
  • Serve as a key leader contributing to the development and growth of the Insights team, sharing best practices and mentoring team members

THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum 12 years of experience managing brand research on either a client or agency side preferred
  • Background in establishing an ongoing program of work designed to cater to a large businesses insights requirements
  • Proven ability to cut through noise and identify relevant and compelling insight
  • Extensive knowledge of the latest trends in generating consumer insights
  • Ability to work at pace when required, while also being able to step back and work on macro projects
  • Brilliant interpersonal and presentation skills – you engineer trust, respect can tailor your approach to the situation and audience
  • An inspiring leader, you care about the development of individuals and the team that you lead

The applicable salary range for this position is $190,000 to $263,970 which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
