Description Overview

We are currently looking for a Brand Coordinator to join our Perrigo Brand Team in Grand Rapids, MI.

This role will support Brand Managers tasked to drive brand share for the following National Brands: Prevacid®, Nasonex®, Burt’s Bees™, ACO®, and injoy®

Scope of the Role

  • Project Management: Partner with Brand Managers and Project Management to track progress against timelines, follow-up with cross functional teams to ensure timelines are met and ensure all deliverables are complete in accordance with project timelines
  • New Item Set Up: Working directly with Brand Managers, Sales Account Executives and Sales Operations, manage the process required to sell a new product to retailers. Collaborate with Sales Samples team to ensure artwork and packaging materials are complete in accordance with retailer timelines and requirements
  • Sales Samples: Report on program/campaign results, with a continuous eye toward plan, process, and KPI optimization considering ongoing organizational needs
  • Artwork/Graphics: Work in coordination with creative services and art department to influence packaging graphics and/or advertising creative. Partner with Legal and Regulatory to ensure in-market risk is minimized. Lead cross functional approval process. Maintain repository of all graphics for sales reviews, agency support, etc.
  • Store Checks: Visit retail stores monthly and document Perrigo brands, and competitor brands new products, aisle signage, promotions, pricing, etc.
  • Meeting Management: Coordinate cross-functional team meetings, take notes and distribute to all team members upon conclusion of the meeting
  • Brand Team Processes: Create and maintain a Sharepoint document system. Develop monthly business management meeting and doc creation cadence which includes workstreams such as business reporting, competitive intelligence, forecasting, and merch calendar review
  • Competitive Intelligence: Constantly monitor and document competitive activity and work with Brand Managers to identify implications and actions to Perrigo’s brands
  • Consumer Research: Partner with consumer insights team to schedule, setup, and monitor consumer research studies as needed

Experience Required

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or a related field is required
  • Typically a minimum of 4 years’ work experience is required
  • An internship in CPG Brand Management, Shopper Marketing, or Retail Marketing is a plus
  • Requires demonstrated ability to support established business plan, possess marketing creativity, developing verbal and written communication skills and excellent project and time management skills
  • Requires the ability to influence without authority internal teams
  • Comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty, ability to navigate unfamiliar situations and can handle organizational pivots
  • Computer literacy and advanced skills in the use of MS Excel, Power Point, and Word are required
  • Requires self-motivation, marketing creativity, detail orientation, and commitment to deadlines. Drives for results based on the strategy with supervisor oversight
