JOB SUMMARY

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to assist with cultivating, building, and maintaining relationships with members of our community and target audience. The Brand Ambassador will work closely with our Uplift Event Coordinator to help promote Youth Era’s Uplift program.

As a successful candidate, you will be involved in increasing brand awareness and event attendance by promoting our services through various media channels. To excel in this role, you must have excellent communication and networking skills, as well as a passion for empowering and uplifting youth. Previous experience as a brand ambassador or similar role is strongly desired, as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principles.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Brand Ambassador - Temporary

Employment Type: Temporary - Full Time (40 hrs per week)

Location - Eugene, OR

Wage: $19 - $20 per hour DOE

PLEASE NOTE: This is a Temporary full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. This position is slotted to start as soon as possible with a contract end date of June 30, 2023 with the potential of contract renewal. Pay is $19- $20 per hour depending on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Familiarizing yourself with the company’s mission, vision, and goals.
  • Working closely with the Uplift Event Coordinator to help conceptualize marketing strategies and achieve goals.
  • Answering event-related questions from potential clients and our community members.
  • Network and build trusting relationships with potential clients, contractors, and as well as our stakeholders/community members.
  • Generate youth sign-ups and participation in Youth Era events.
  • Educating potential clients about our services and events.
  • Building rapport with clients and community members
  • Monitoring any feedback and escalating complaints to the marketing department.
  • Tracking event metrics and campaign success
  • Brainstorming ideas and participating in training and workshops.
  • Maintaining a positive image of the brand at all times.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Degree or experience in Marketing or related field.
  • Prior experience in a customer service environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to travel.
