Position Summary: The Fencing Supply Group (FSG) is looking to hire Branch Managers for Greenfield start up locations in several markets across the country. The Branch Manager is responsible for managing activities to open up a new location, including staffing an effective team, and leading the successful performance of the branch following start up. This position requires a strong balance of organizational, operational, communication and people management skills.

General Responsibilities:

  • Manage project plans to ensure each of the tasks associated with opening a new location are completed successfully and on time.
  • Direct all operational aspects of the branch including distribution operations, customer service, administration, and sales
  • Create and maintain a strong branch culture, including a focus on safety as our top priority and creating a great place to work for all team members
  • Staff, develop and lead a high-performing branch team.
  • Ensure the branch meets or exceeds its performance and operational objectives, delivers financial results, and continues to grow profitably.
  • Communicate effectively so that team members are clear on direction and priorities and have the necessary feedback needed to perform their jobs successfully and feel connected to the business.
  • Partner with region and functional support resources as necessary
  • Drive high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
  • Lead efforts to drive outstanding customer service and operational excellence.
  • Understand customer’ needs, provides excellent customer service and builds positive relationships.
  • Provide continual evaluation and improvement of processes and procedures.
Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or operations- related discipline
  • 5+ years leading operations, a P&L, and teams of people, with a previous field and branch leadership experience in industrial distribution preferred.
  • Strong history of a customer-focused and commercial mindset and experience.
