We’re looking for a community-minded individual with a proven customer service background to oversee the daily operation of our branch in Smithsburg, Maryland. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to sharpen their management skills in a friendly, small-town atmosphere.

To be successful in this hands-on position you should be proficient in all aspects of running a small branch, from assisting members with transactional and lending needs; to training, cultivating, and evaluating staff resources; to optimizing branch operations.

At a minimum, you will:

· Perform routine account transactions and account maintenance functions

· Meet or exceed your members’ needs

· Maintain the security of your branch

· Balance a cash drawer, vault and ATM

· Open new consumer and business accounts

· Perform lending functions

· Help to hire, train, develop, reprimand and terminate employees

· Evaluate staff job performance

· Process savings bonds and money orders

· Cross sell credit union products and services

· Perform back-office administrative duties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
