BRAKE PRESS OPERATOR

Short Description
The Brake Operator reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for adherence to all Safety
Policies and Procedures and compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the respective Brake Operator procedures, work orders, work instructions, and specified customer requirements.

SUMMARY & SCOPE:

The Brake Operator reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for adherence to all Safety
Policies and Procedures and compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the respective Brake Operator procedures, work orders, work instructions, and specified customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set-up brake press tooling
• Operate and maintain brake press machines
• Complete brake press machine maintenance and preventative maintenance by complete maintenance request forms
• Complete all required safety and quality checks and measurements
• Adhere to all Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
• Meet shift objectives by ensuring efficient and safe operations
• Assist in implementing lean manufacturing initiatives to improve production efficiencies
• Other duties as assigned

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-5+ years experience in set-up, operation and maintaining of Brake Press machines

(Cincinnati Brake Press a strong asset)

• Ability to complete a change over with minimal to no assistance
• Flexibility on shift times and overtime as required
• Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Forklift experience a strong asset

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.50 - $19.95 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
