Pay:

● $18.00 - $21.00 (based on experience)

● Paid Weekly

Skills and Qualifications:

● This position requires the Box Builder to measure, cut and assemble boxes (crates) using a variety of power and hand tools. Once the crate is completed, the box builder fills it with specified glass product and prepares an accompanying skid to be placed on the crate.

● Responsible for the maintenance of the interior and exterior of the warehouse(s)

● Respects and supports Supervisors and Managers

● Able to understand and follow oral or written work instructions

● Good communication skills

● Able to work with fellow coworkers in a professional manner

● Isolate damaged items to a predefined marked area and report it to supervisors

● Ensure that containers are marked properly and labeled appropriately

● Measure and weigh packed container and put information on the packing

● Make sure that product containers are loaded onto trucks using best safety products

● Report any errors in product selection and quantity to the supervisor immediately

Physical Demands:

● Position spends 100% of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing

● Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection

● To accurately place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner.

● Attaches identifying tag or labels to materials or marks information on pallets

● Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to customers.

● Review all orders to determine if they were picked correctly.

● Ensure warehouse/equipment is maintained on a regular basis.

● To accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list.

● Competencies:

● Be able to identify products by size, type, style, color or product code.

● Solid reading skills – must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.

● Basic math skills and reasoning skills.

● Ability to understand and execute instructions.

● Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.

Requirements:

● 1-3 years of warehouse experience

● Ability to operate hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment

● Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system and RF guns

● Team player with organizational skills

● Ability to lift or move heavy products up to 50 lbs unassisted

● High school diploma

● Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment

● Must be eligible to work in the United States

● Must have reliable transportation

● Must be dependable, punctual, and honest

● Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Shifts:

Monday through Friday: 6am - 3pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
