BOOKKEEPER WANTED – Work From Home
HWCWMA (Humboldt Watershed Cooperative Weed Management Area), a nonprofit corporation located in Northern Nevada, is seeking a bookkeeper; the job title defined by our bylaws is Administrator. A candidate located near Elko or Spring Creek, Nevada is preferred. Training will be provided, however certain skills are required as follows:
Requirements:
· Knowledge of and proficiency with QuickBooks financial software including generating financial reports
· Knowledge of and proficiency with Excel
· Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience
· Experience with payroll preparation, filing payroll liability returns, making EFTPS payments, and W-2 preparation
· Bank account reconciliation and oversight
· General administration duties including but not limited to filing, phone calls, typing meeting minutes
· Tracking annual certifications, insurance policies, billings, and payments
· Familiarity with nonprofit account management preferred but not required
Average work week:
· 5 hours – some weeks more, some weeks less
Compensation and Benefits:
· $22.00/hour
· Paid Time Off

· SIMPLE IRA for employees making more than $5,000/year
