City Experiences is seeking a Boat Cleaner for our City Experiences operation in Newport Beach

About the Opportunity:

Successful candidates will be motivated self-starters who are dependable, have a positive attitude and possess good communication skills. You will work in a fast paced environment, keeping the vessels, piers and facilities clean and Show Ready at all times. Reliability and flexible schedule is a must.

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to problem solve basic repairs
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds (Requirement)
  • Ability to scale ladders
  • Comply with safety practices, policies, and procedures
  • Cleaning common areas (restrooms, offices, dining areas, hallways) including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, emptying trash, etc.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory control of tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Additional job duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-year minimum experience in Cleaning and Maintenance is helpful
  • Knowledge of power tools
  • Bi-lingual is a plus English/Spanish

Grooming:

  • All crew members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available in the Employee Handbook).

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to bend, rotate and reach frequently
  • Ascending/descending stairs or ladders safely
  • Ability to maneuver through/in/around small and/or confined areas within the vessel
  • Must be able to maintain both static and dynamic standing balance to complete various duties associated with job
  • Must be capable of performing emergency duties as listed in the vessel’s station bill

Work Environment:

  • Office environment, stairs available. Work is administrative in nature.
  • The majority of work is performed in a Marine environment in both indoor and outdoor conditions with exposure to various temperatures and weather conditions, along with a moderate to loud noise level.
  • Understand and follow all RESPECT procedures that relate to your job duties
  • Work with a “safety-first” attitude and ensure you and your team adhere to all safety rules and standards.
  • Ensure all facility, guest and crew accidents, incidents, safety hazards and violations including those that create harm, litigation, or insurance are promptly reported and required forms completed.
  • Communicate with Senior Management any issues affecting the health, welfare and safety of guests, crew, assets and facilities.
  • Seek ways to minimize impact on the environment at all times.
  • Demonstrate RESPECT values and QUEST Hospitality Behaviors with internal and external guests.
