North Shore Pediatric Therapy in Des Plaines, IL is looking to immediately hire a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-6:30pm and Potential Saturdays- Flexible Schedule

Our kids are at the center of everything we do here at North Shore Pediatric Therapy! As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing ongoing support to clients and their families.

As a leader on our clinical team, you’ll be providing a life-changing service that affects entire families today, tomorrow, and years into the future. You will develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on the result of your assessment, and manage the team of Behavior Therapists/Registered Behavior Technicians providing the care. This may include teaching new skills, reinforcing appropriate behavior, and addressing problems.

Who makes a great BCBA at North Shore Pediatric Therapy?

• You have a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field, and must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• You have prior experience conducting functional behavior assessments to identify the strengths and needs of each client
• Those who know you describe you as having unflappable patience and compassion. Autism affects each person in diverse ways, and you will need to provide consistent, calm care and follow-up.
• You are a leader and are excited to train, manage, and mentor our Behavior Therapists and Registered Behavior Technicians.

Your role as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

• Organize, design, and oversee all clinical aspects for a caseload of children including treatment protocols, behavior reduction systems, and data collection systems.
• Make appropriate cross-referrals to other disciplines as needed
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for each client based on their unique needs and abilities
• Provide direct and indirect supervision with our Behavior Therapists/Registered Behavior Technicians to implement protocols.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, such as doctors, teachers, and pediatric therapists, to ensure our clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care
• Keep detailed records of progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Our BCBA interview process

We care deeply about our teams and the people who make them up. Our interview process is designed to make you feel like you know us and are a good fit for our kiddos. The first step in our interview process is a video chat with a member of our recruiting team. We encourage you to use this as an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about us. From there, we will invite candidates to an in-person interview. You will meet members of our clinical team (your future co-workers!) and this interview may also include a brief observation of a therapy session. By the end of the interview process, you should have a sense of who we are and how you will be teaching our kiddos to blossom. We can’t wait to meet you!
