JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for loading and unloading tanker trailers with bulk liquids.

• Uses proper equipment and follows established operating procedures to safely and efficiently perform all duties needed.

• Operate computers and completes all paperwork according to department procedures.

• Conforms to company attendance and safety policies and follows company procedures.

• Load and unload railcars with bulk liquids as required.

• Blend batches according to approved formulas and procedures.

• Open and close manual valves to make proper line-ups and transfer fluids from tank to tank.

• Operate fork lift to move totes and drums.

• Operate pumps and flow meters to load and blend products.

• Fill buckets, totes, and drums to fulfill customer orders as necessary

• Spot trailers using yard-dog tractor

• Work continuously outside in all weather conditions.

• Work 2nd Shift. 2PM – 10PM

o Extra hours may be required to meet production demands.

o Training will be on 2nd shift 2PM-10PM.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Capable of operating company equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

• Able to read written instruction, complete required paperwork and perform basic math calculations using a ruler and/or other measuring devices.

• Must be familiar with all company policies and procedures regarding safety and operations.

• Computer skills are a MUST. Company owned software such as CORE and TALON will be used on a daily basis.

• Good verbal, planning, and organizational skills desired.

• Understand the difference in lubricant types and grades.

• Be proficient in Microsoft word and excel.

• Operate pumps, valves, and related equipment for blending.

• Work nights and weekends when required to meet customer demand.

• Pass aptitude test.

• Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

• Physical activity includes bending, reaching, stretching, and climbing.

• Able to work in inclement weather such as rain, cold, or heat for long periods of time.

• Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling and/or moving additive containers using proper equipment and safe lifting techniques minimizing risk of injury.

Pay: $39,722.00 - $51,974.00 per year
