Job description

• Associate’s degree in biomedical equipment, electronics, and/or military training
• Prior work experience preferred performing inspection, preventive and corrective repair service, and maintenance
• Experience in the application of testing equipment (electrical safety analyzer, patient simulator, digital multimeter, gas flow analyzer, infusion device analyzer, etc.)
• Ability to provide effective inspection, calibration, maintenance, and repair services for multiple modalities including: sterilizers/autoclaves, anesthesia machines, infusion pumps, etc.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and schematics
• Ability to stand, walk, and crouch for extended periods of time and lift, push, or pull 100 lbs
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in the field and in-house is important
• Ability to work in surgical and/or lab environments where certain protocols must be observed and communication is required with the staff of such environments
• Demonstrate ability to complete assigned jobs in an efficient and resourceful manner
• Ability to communicate with staff regarding technical subjects in a courteous manner
• Familiarity and knowledge of ISO 13485, The Joint Commission, and NFPA99 standards
• Basic computer skills required
• Travel; requires a driver’s license
• Organizational and interpersonal skills must be demonstrated to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Provides feedback with respect to customer interactions and observations while in the field
• Ability to meet goals while completing documentation (digital and/or print) accurately to assist in invoicing customers and meeting regulatory and other standards based compliances
• Ability to perform assigned jobs, assist in technical training, responsible for assigned part, rental, loaner, etc. inventory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
