Our client in the medical industry is looking for several regional travel onsite technicians to take the role of Biomedical Equipment Technician at their facility in Las Vegas, NV

Location: Regional Travel around the Las Vegas, NV area

Shift: Day Shift - 40 hours per week while traveling

Pay: $19.00/hr up to $24.00/hr

Job Type: Direct Hire

Travel can be anywhere from 1 week up to 6 weeks at a time, 40-hour work week while traveling.
1 week home in-between travel - while home they will report to the local depot (if they live near one of our locations listed below)

Can be anywhere within the US, but if placed near one of our facilities the better:

• Rochester Hills, MI
• Lenexa, KS
• Canton, MA
• Bakersfield, CA
• Santa Fe Springs, CA

Scheduling is assigned the month before. That being said we do get a lot of last-minute sites that will have less notice.

Biomedical Equipment Technician Description

Our client is a growing healthcare company that provides infusion pumps and related products and services for patients in hospitals, clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and other sites of care from five locations serving all 50 states and Canada. We deliver improved patient outcomes and high patient satisfaction.

Position Summary:

Biomedical Equipment Technician is responsible for testing, evaluating and performing routine repairs on medical equipment.

They will accurately document service actions in a digital work order and demonstrate our customer is 1st” culture by taking ownership, doing the right thing and solving their problems.

IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Daily servicing of medical equipment - trouble shooting and electrical repairs
• Provide timely and efficient servicing to customers
• Documenting essential details of service actions and observations of pump conditions and operations. This crucial process will allow people to understand the history of a device and provide the customer with more beneficial information.
• Accurately follow diagnosis, test and recertify devices.
• Complete routine repairs on a limited number of products
• Accurately entering work orders with correct parts, labor, equipment info and performance results into the Service Information System.
• Perform minor evaluations and/or estimations on the devices.
• Expand pump model knowledge by learning new devices at the customers need
• Remain current and knowledgeable on all areas of processes and procedures
• Remain flexible, open and eager to learn from fellow employees to best meet and exceed the customers' expectations at all times.
• Understand and execute principals of 5S workplace organization.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with troubleshooting and repair in electronic or mechanical devices experience and/or training, but not requiredprevious experience is acceptable: cell phone, computer, and automotive transmission/motor repairs, HVAC tech, and other related experience
• Exceptional verbal and communication skills as well as strong organizational skills
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include word, excel and outlook.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to add, subtract, and match numbers.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Medical Test Technician Requirements for Hire

• Minimum 2 years of Electronics testing experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Drug Screen
• Criminal Background Check - no felonies or misdemeanors
• Covid Vaccination is required for hire
