Billing Specialist

Billing Specialist Qualifications:

• Strong vendor management experience

• 5+ Years of Relevant Work Experience

• Must be able to manage high volume AP processing

• Strong use of large ERP, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook

• Must possess excellent Time Management, Organizational, and Communication skills

• Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county, and municipal requirements

Billing Specialist Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate invoices are prepared and delivered to customers on a weekly basis through the various delivery methods (email, portals etc.)

• Be able to review data on multiple systems to ensure accurate invoices are generated on a weekly basis and as needed by customer

• Ensure supporting documentation and analysis is provided as per contractual requirements

• If corrected invoices are required, capture and document the changes to allow accurate accounting entries and avoidance of duplicate billing

• Follow Delegation of Authority for invoicing amendments

• Support the Billing Supervisor and Manager with customer requirements

• Review transactions entered by the accounts payable team to check for validity and accuracy before posting to the general ledger

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Workforce administration / Payroll to ensure billing data is accurate

• Typically reports to Billing Supervisor

• Travel based on the needs of the business (10% of the time or greater)
