Hybrid Role – In office Mon & Tues; work from home Weds, Thurs, Fri

Requisition Description:

This position supports the Latin America billing processing functions for Direct Custody & Clearing. The person in this role will have direct operational responsibilities for invoice production, accounting, reconciliation, and investigations related to the LATAM Custody Billing, including the review of key client invoices. This role also includes client queries, investigations, metrics, reporting, testing tasks, process improvements and training new and existing coworkers on all processing functions. In addition, this person will also be involved with special projects such as internal controls, compliance, standard operating procedure writing, software application requirement development and End User Computing development and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Invoice production/review, timely and accurate delivery for custody clients

· Respond to requests in a timely manner

· Effectively communicate with team members, management, business partners and clients

· Develop and document procedures and processes

· Analyze reoccurring issues and assist in developing process improvements

· Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases

· Process payment and accounting entries

· The ability to work within tight deadlines

· Compile metrics for weekly & monthly reporting to seniors

· Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies

· Training new team members when hired, on all processing functions

· Training existing coworkers, on all processing functions for cross training and back up purposes

· Comply with company policies

Requisition Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field or years equivalent to work experience- nice to have

· 3 years’ experience in Securities industry or Financial experience collecting payments

· Demonstrated ability to take ownership of problems and lead problem resolution

· Desire to develop expertise in the securities industry and billing functions

· Investigation and reconciliation ability

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills

· Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and clients

· Understanding of operations, internal controls and risk management

· Advanced PC skills including MS Excel, MS Access, and SharePoint

· Proven aptitude to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· Trustworthy with confidential information

· Spanish speaker is required- Portuguese a big plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
