Vale Group has partnered with an established company in the international floral distribution industry that is actively searching for an experienced Bilingual Inland Logistics Manager to work ON-SITE in Miami, FL (33172)
The ideal Bilingual Inland Logistics Manager Candidate will have experience in managing freight distribution budgets, route planning, and Import/Export Logistics of perishable goods.
This is a full-time, permanent position paying an annual salary of $100,000 - $110,000. Benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k, generous PTO package, and company provided equipment allowance.
Bilingual Inland Logistics Manager Responsibilities:
- Day-to-Day management of customer and carrier relations and internal logistical operations
- Develop route plans and initiatives to optimize cost savings on transportation costs
- Negotiate partnerships with Third Party Transportation providers
- Supervise, train, and delegate tasks to logistics and operations staff
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within logistics operations
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years experience in transportation, distribution, logistics, or freight management
- A high degree of aptitude in planning, organization, and analytical thinking.
- Ability and willingness to create solutions for logistical problems as they arise
- Computer proficiency and experience with MS Office - Excel/Powerpoint
- Proficiency with Trade Management System software programs
