The Bellman is primarily tasked in providing the resort guests and owners with an efficient Bell service. A Bellman ensures the luggage is being delivered, collected, stored accurately and promptly all the time. The Bellman may also assist with Valet duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Must be able to drive a company vehicle.
2. Collect and maintain a number of luggage carts throughout each building.
3. Must communicate with janitorial staff for areas that require immediate attention.
4. Deliver card keys to units from the Front Desk when needed.
5. Deliver messages and run errands.

Qualifications:

1. Valid driver’s license.

2. Great attitude.

3. Be able to lift 50 or more pounds.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in English.

We need to hire a Valet. The Palms of Destin is looking for a professional individual with a great attitude and work ethic to join our team in the Valet department. The Valet may also assist with Bellman duties.

Responsibilities - Valet:

• Greet and welcome visitors, guest and Owners in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Drive vehicles from the check-in lane to the parking garage.
• Retrieve customers’ vehicles from the parking garage.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements – Valet:

• Valid driver's license.
• Must be friendly and courteous.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
