Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift
Location: Spokane Valley
Compensation: Starts at $29.50, DOE

Sunshine Terrace is hiring in our Behavioral Health Facility for a Full-Time day shift Social Worker, MSW. We take pride in giving our residents companionship along with care. The job includes, medication management and administration, medical emergency response within scope of practice if needed, assistance with contacting providers at times.

• Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress with respect to treatment goals.
• Assist clients in adhering to treatment plans, such as setting up appointments, arranging for transportation to appointments, activities of daily living or providing informal counseling.
• Advocate on behalf of their clients.
• Perform administrative duties related to a client’s care such as filling out forms for social services benefits and arranging other services as needed.
• Care Coordination within residential setting and in the community
• Prepares intake and orientation of potential and new consumers.
• Attends all appropriate inter-agency meetings.
• Completes chart reviews as required.

Education/Experience: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

• Master's Degree in Social Work
• Five years’ related work experience preferred.
• Must possess MHP designations.

Certificates/Licenses: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

• Food Handler’s Permit
• Current First Aid and CPR card
• Have completed a recent Blood borne Pathogen training within the last year.
