Our expert staff restore hope and provide lasting recovery to adults in the greater Tampa area, through holistic care and comprehensive inpatient & outpatient programs, including a separate inpatient program for senior adults.

We currently have an opening for a Full time, Day OR Night Shift (12 hr shifts, including a weekend rotation), Behavioral Health Associate, to join our team of caring professionals.

Purpose of position:

• Responsible for providing personal care services to patients at the facility under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• Responsible for conducting safety checks and ensuring that supervision is conducted at 15 minute intervals, as noted in special precautions, or in accordance with individualized supervision guidelines as needed.
• Assist in providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment for patients, significant others and staff.
• Interact routinely with patients, observe behaviors and communicate significant observations to nursing staff.
• Facilitate patient educational-rehabilitative groups which cover a variety of topics including social skills, coping skills, anger management and independent living skills.
• Engage patients in activities and interactions designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals.

Job Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: One (1) year experience in behavioral health preferred.

Licensures/Certification: Current CPR certification and Handle With Care (HWC) certification (will provide HWC training). Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
