Responsibilities

  • The BDC Internet Agent delivers a premium customer experience by responding to customer inquiries in a prompt, professional, accurate and courteous manner
  • This highly accountable position uses lead management tools, CRM software and the internet to manage inquiry flow, update customer files, and closely track customer interest
  • The BDC representative will be trained to understand all products and services offered, will become knowledgeable of inventory as well as financing and incentive programs
  • Respond to internet inquiries with courtesy, accuracy and professionalism
  • Promptly and accurately enter all customer inquiry data into the CRM
  • Generate sales & service appointments
  • Effectively utilize lead management tools
  • Exhibit ethical behavior, provide the highest degree of customer satisfaction and be honest in all aspects of dealing with customers
  • Constantly connect with prospective customers via phone and email to set an confirm appointments; following up on no show customers
  • Utilize a prospect development system through the Customer Relationship Management software (eLead)
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for meeting customer appointment goals
  • Seamlessly transfer online leads to Sales team
  • Partner with Internet Sales Manager and Management Team to provide near-real-time quotes to customer inquiries
  • Build a working knowledge of the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the product
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions as scheduled
