Job description
Barista, Coffee Kiosk Days, 20 Hours Bi-Weekly
Performs activities related to food preparation and service for employees, visitors and others to enable the department to provide services as required. Completes associated cleanup activities to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment. Nutrition Services is focused on Service Excellence. All employees must be willing and able to commit to Meritus Health’s Code of Conduct and align duties with the Values of Teamwork, Stewardship, Accountability, Integrity, Advocacy, and Innovation.
Education - Graduation from high school or equivalent required. Two years proven customer service experience in lieu of high school graduate is acceptable.
Experience - 6 months - 1 year customer service experience required. Experience in a specialty coffee serving environment preferred. Cash register, money handling experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification - N/A
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Ability to follow verbal and written instructions required. Ability to measure ingredients and perform basic math calculations .Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. Ability to work independently while demonstrating professional behaviors.
