Floratorium Café (Wood-Ridge / NJ) is the first expression of Floratorium´s LLC hospitality branch. It is a unique and inviting space that blends the furthermost expression of floral design with the art of hospitality.

By traditional standards, we would be defined as a concept store as we mix a cafe, a flower and a gift shop. By Floratorium´s own standards, we are much more than that.

What we offer is an immersive and sensorial experience where flowers, related merchandising and our offer of comforting food & beverage are our main actors.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, specialty beverages per brand standards
• Prepares and serve food items in line with location standards
• Assist with the selling of our flowers, bouquets & merchandising
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning and sanitizing
• Maintain clean and sanitary work area
• Stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware and condiments
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Previous cash handling experience preferred
• Previous experience as a barista preferred
• Basic math & counting skills required
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
