Job Summary: The Bar/Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar and restaurant operations, including guest satisfaction, revenue generation, financial management, employee development, and facility maintenance. The Manager will be expected to lead by example and provide a high level of service and operational excellence across all areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee all aspects of bar and restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, staff scheduling, and facility maintenance.

· Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by maintaining a culture of excellence in service and hospitality.

· Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.

· Manage and monitor financial performance, including revenue generation, expense management, and budgeting.

· Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.

· Hire, train, develop, and motivate employees to ensure a high level of productivity and job satisfaction.

· Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by promoting teamwork, communication, and mutual respect among all employees.

· Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety, labor laws, and environmental regulations.

· Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests, vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

· Prepare reports and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

· Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.

· Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the bar and restaurant areas, including equipment and supplies.

· Manage inventory levels and control costs through effective ordering and storage practices.

· Implement and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and presentation.

· Create and manage menus that meet guest needs and preferences while ensuring profitability.

· Ensure compliance with all the brand standards and guidelines.

· Represent the bar and restaurant in public relations activities, media interviews, and community events.

· Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to stay up to date on industry trends and network with other professionals.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in bar and restaurant operations, with at least 2 years of experience in a management role.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with guests, employees, and stakeholders.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire employees to achieve their goals.

· Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and develop and manage budgets.

· Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving revenue growth.

· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.

· Knowledge of the hotel brand standards and guidelines is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
