Back-end Engineer
Enquizit Inc,

Enquizit is seeking Back-end Engineers with extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend components and APIs. Ideal candidates will have multiple years of experience with development using a modern technology stack in Java and with a variety of backend databases. The individual must be capable of working in a fast-paced Agile environment and working cooperatively within a multi-functional team. The individual would also have some familiarity with background jobs and Data Ingestion techniques. Ideal candidate will have experience and Familiarity with Healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR and experience working in a HIPAA compliant environment.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for curating the structure of server-side information. Write server scripts and APIs to be utilized by front-side engineers and UX designers.
  • Develop modular, efficient backend that interacts with workload-appropriate datastores including Relational, Document, and Search clusters
  • The day-to-day consists of optimizing APIs for speed and stability, implementing security structures, generating reusable code libraries, and generating data storage solutions.
  • Vast knowledge of back-end coding in Java or similar quantifiable experience in PHP, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Kotlin, etc and willingness to contribute to primary Java codebase.
  • Utilizes experience with architecting, developing, and supporting distributed and scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications and services with hands-on coding experience in a modern object-oriented language.
  • Follow Test Driven Development or Self-testing code to develop quality software with high levels of coverage
  • Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and other agile software development best practices

Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
