A bit about us: We are a family of 6 who enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time outdoors, and we're currently in search of a summer nanny who would be a great fit for our family! Our four children will be ages 14, 11, 9, and 7 this summer, and we're hoping to find a nanny who can engage with them and help make their summer full of fun and adventure. As a sporty and athletic family, we're looking for a nanny who shares our love for the outdoors and is excited to participate in outdoor activities with our kids. We believe that finding a nanny who can connect with our family on this level will make for a fantastic summer for everyone involved.
A bit about you: You are passionate about the outdoors and staying active. You describe yourself as athletic, energetic, engaging, and creative. You understand the importance of clear and effective communication and make it a priority in your role as a nanny. Safety is also a top priority for you, and you take pride in being a safe driver. You truly enjoy getting to know the kids you work with and believe that some of the best conversations happen during car rides. You strive to create positive and memorable experiences for the children in your care and are excited to do so with our family's children this summer!
Job Duties: The main responsibilities for this position involve taking the children on outdoor adventures to nearby parks, shops, bike rides, the pool, beach, and other fun activities. Most of the children’s time will be spent at the Mercer Island beach club, so an energetic, active, candidate who loves being at the beach and by the pool would be great. We will minimize off-island driving. You will need to drive the children to some activities, so a car is required, but gas mileage will be reimbursed. You will also be responsible for light lunch and snack preparation for the children. The main focus will be to keep the children active and engaged throughout the day!

Qualifications: Safe vehicle to transport children, clean driving record, 1 year of experience, and glowing references from recent childcare positions.

Schedule: 40 Hours a Week. M-F with an 8:30/10:00 start to a 4:30/ 6:30 end (will vary by day)
Pay: $25-30 an hour
