Split Pine Axe Throwing is hiring fun and attentive employees interested in coaching others to properly throw axes. This part-time position includes thorough training prior to handling groups. Upon completion of training, you will work with groups to coach them on how to throw, as well as play games. Regular sessions last between one and two hours, depending on the group's booking. We provide an exciting axe-perience for both new and seasoned guests, often with guests returning.
Qualifications:
- Customer service
- Ability to communicate professionally with guests, co-workers, managers, etc.
- Confident and outgoing
- Safety conscious
- Weekend availability
- Must be able to stand for several hours at a time
- Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the US
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the safety rules and regulations
- Greet and provide waivers for both scheduled groups and walk-ins
- Represent Split Pine in an enthusiastic an positive manner
- Train guests on proper technique and safety practices, as well as explain and referee games
- Monitor guests to maintain safety for all participants
- Assist guests' needs and requests
- Take guests' picture at the end of the session
- Sweep and organize lanes in between groups
