Position Overview

The Automation Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day operations and development of the automation team which handles IVANS policy and eDocs download into our agency management system. You will be responsible for the creation and documentation of interface management workflows, onboarding, and development of team members, and allocating work across the team to maintain efficiency and timeliness of suspense assignments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide monthly progress reports and needs assessment to leadership to support continuous improvement efforts
  • Stay informed on M&A activity to ensure proper setup and support for new agency onboarding
  • Allocate team resources to on-demand helpdesk and monitor for accuracy and timely response to tickets
  • Create a culture of continuous feedback within your team to track progress and challenges
  • Utilize available dashboards and reporting to identify obstacles, areas for improvement and/or training needs to increase efficiency and timeliness
  • Process suspended policies, eDocs and messages per agency automation team workflows and procedures
  • Create activities in agency management system and assign to servicer with complete and easy to understand instructions on what needs to be done so suspense items can be assigned properly
  • Close activities per agency automation team workflows once reassigned back to the automation team workgroup and suspended item has been assigned
  • Monitor communication log errors and address them per agency automation team workflows
  • Solve communication log for errors and work with Epic Administrator and/or support if needed
  • Create plans including key milestones, dependencies, timelines, responsible parties, and expected outcomes
  • Participate in interface related discussions and groups as a subject matter expert when needed

Qualifications

  • Previous interface management experience within Applied Epic or similar agency management system is required
  • Property & Casualty insurance industry knowledge is required

Computer Skills/Software Skills

  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Education

  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred
