Manufacturer of Coils and HVAC Components in Union County is seeking a Direct Hire Automation Controls EngineerFull Job Description
- Design, develop and implement controls system to meet client requirements
- Assist electrical team with development of drawing package. Provide BOM, I/O Assignment etc
- Control panel design and layout of internal components
- Write programs for PLC and HMI (Schneider) and BacNet Gateways
- Assist in wiring sensors and controls to equipment
- Program and start up variable speed drives
- Assist in testing controls after manufacturing / performing in-house testing and startup
- Perform field start up and commissioning if required
- 3 - 5 years experience programming of PLC based control systems
- Key Traits
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent mental agility
- Ability to resolve issue independently
- Attention to detail, while not losing sight of the big picture
- Programmable logic controllers
- Mechanical knowledge
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
