Overview:
Chenega Security International is looking for professional Information Technology specialists to join our growing team. We are currently looking for an
AutoCAD Operator to support our Electronic and Physical Security Design team.
This teammate will work closely with our professional engineering staff, project managers, staff subject matter experts, and senior company leadership to solve complex security problems from requirements development and design, through testing and acceptance of the systems.

- Creating drawings and specifications based on equations, calculations, and written instructions provided by designers and engineers.
- Use manual drafting skills to draw plans that cannot be computer-generated.
- Work entails fine-tuning and revising plans to meet architectural requirements.

- This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities but will require ability to act independently with little to no supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture and/or 5+ years related experience producing AutoCAD drawings.
- Knowledge of applicable ASME standards and codes.
- Manual and computer drawing talents are necessary.
- Conceptualization skills are required to visualize finished product and projects.
- Knowledge of geometry and architectural terminology is needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both subordinates, customers, supervisors and peers.
- Windows Basics understanding.
- Ability to effectively use MS Office products to communicate and prepare information for dissemination.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance in the first six months of being hired.
- Travel is required up to 25% of the work year.
- Required to adhere to all government agency guidelines as it applies to COVID vaccine Attestation/Restrictions.
