JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview: We are looking for a Mechanic who would like to be a part of our Maintenance team with one of the largest transportation companies in the entertainment industry. A successful Mechanic will have excellent time management, has a “can do” attitude, works well as a team player, and understands the importance of getting the job done. This position is an opportunity to learn and better your skills.

Job Functions:

• Complete standard and complex repairs such as changing oil, tires, replacing hoses, belts, and batteries; inspecting and replacing breaks; replacing vehicle body parts and accessories
• Ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed properly and in accordance with the company’s policies as well as the manufacturer’s standards
• Accurately complete repair orders by priority and within a reasonable time
• Record time spent on each work order
• Assist in the diagnosis of vehicle issues
• Properly maintain necessary equipment and tools.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area which is left prepped and ready for the next shift.
• Preventative maintenance as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of basic mechanic experience preferred
• Dispatch or car rental experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player with a positive and upbeat attitude
• Demonstrated ability to follow directives
• Must be able to work on weekends
• Must submit to a background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment, drugtest, and Department of Motor Vehicle check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Automotive Mechanics: 2 years (Preferred)
