As a Claims Consultant, you'll be responsible for the oversight of claims from beginning to end. You'll act as advisor and advocate for clients on a range of complex claims matters.

What You'll Do:

  • Support claims intake team by addressing and handling questions and concerns
  • Support claims team with reporting of claims and ongoing claims advocacy
  • Address internal broker team inquiries on claims
  • Address external client inquiries and provide support
  • Ensure timely issuance and accuracy of claims reporting and First Notice of Loss to insurers
  • Issue claims reporting timely and accurately and First Notice of Loss to insurers
  • Respond to clients and account teams on claims-related inquiries
  • Support the claims team in handling day-to-day claims operations
  • Proactively identify potential coverage issues to provide consultative services to the client as needed
  • Actively research and obtain claims data and status from claim carriers and challenge adjusters as warranted while advocating the best possible outcome for our clients and in compliance with WS service standards.

  • You delegate work appropriately and use delegation as an opportunity to develop others; participate fully as a team member; provide backup to designated team members and actively contribute to establishing and meeting team goals
  • You demonstrate ongoing commitment to professional development

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
  • Minimum of five years of claims management experience, law firm, TPA or brokerage environment preferred
  • CPCU, ARM or other similar professional designation preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of practical and technical aspects of core auto coverage, claim procedures and terminology
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and shift focus as priorities change
  • Fire & Casualty license required upon hire or within 3 months of obtaining position
  • Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to travel as required

More About Us:

Compensation: Anticipated salary between $48,855.00 - $88,161.00. Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate.

This position is eligible to participate in an incentive program to earn additional compensation with a target equivalent to 8% of salary annually, based on individual and Company performance.
