What You Will Be Doing

  • Completes all tasks of a Guest Services Representative.
  • Executes all necessary guest services functions including but not limited to: check-ins, check-outs, reservations, directing phone calls, guest services, and cash handling.
  • Prints all necessary reports.
  • Balances all necessary accounts.
  • Completes bucket check, checklists, and all necessary reports.
  • Alphabetizes all registration slips of guests who have checked out.
  • Prints express check outs.
  • Prepares next day arrivals.
  • Checks and resolves room discrepancies.
  • Balances all credit card accounts for the day.
  • Closes out all cash accounts and balances.
  • Complete the Cashier over/short reports.
  • Post room and tax.

Job Description

Maintain high quality service to guests checking in and out of the hotel. Posts guest room charges and assists in guests needs. Responsible for overseeing all third shift front office operations to include the balancing of all credit card accounts for the day.

Job Requirements

Education:

High school diploma/GED required. Associates Degree or bachelor's degree in related field (i.e.: Hotel Management, Business Management) preferred.

Experience:

  • Preferred: Minimum of (1) years hotel/resort experience.
  • Preferred: Minimum of (1) years hands on experience with front office operations
  • Preferred: Opera Property Management System experience
