Florida ENT & Allergy, a division of ENT & Allergy Associates of Florida has an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual seeking a full-time Audiology Assistant position in our Pasadena location.

Florida E.N.T. & Allergy is a fast-growing medical practice with 13 locations in the Tampa Bay Area.

The Audiology Assistant, under the supervision of the Staff Audiologist and Audiology Assistant Lead, is responsible for assisting in the delivery of hearing health care and patient care management.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for clerical support of the audiology ancillary
• Conduct hearing instrument follow up and care
• Assist the audiologist in the integrated patient diagnostics
• Maintain professional standards, licensure, and patient records according to practice standards
• Must be able to travel between our Brandon and Riverview office

Education:

High School diploma required

Experience:

One year of medical experience in a physician’s office or an equivalent combination of training and experience preferred

Knowledge

• Knowledge of medical practice and care
• Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments
• Computer knowledge required

Skills & Abilities

• Skill in identifying and resolving problems
• Good customer service skills
• Good team player
• Ability to maintain records and record test results
• Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures
• Ability to use good reasoning and judgment and react calmly in emergency situations
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, coworkers, and the public
