How you’ll make an impact:

The Audio Production Assistant will work with members of the Howard Stern Post Production team to support various department needs for audio production and content development on multiple Sirius XM platforms. This role will combine technical & organizational skills as well as creative abilities.

What you’ll do:

• Pull audio clips for various on-air projects
• Edit segments for air on the channels
• Prepare & publish programming for the Sirius XM app On Demand.
• Complete department administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Sit in with senior staff to learn the inner workings of the department and audio production.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of experience with ProTools editing software
• Passion for radio and/or audio production.
• Must have experience in Adobe Audition editing software
• Experience editing dialogue preferred
• Microsoft Office required, with an emphasis on Excel
• Strong interest in learning all aspects talk radio programming and audio production.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, supporting colleagues and sharing audio material.
• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details
• Ability to be flexible and professional under pressure and deadlines.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $46,000 to $70,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
