Overview:

We are looking for a Market Director to oversee several retail locations and supervise multiple retail store managers and Area Managers. The job responsibilities include driving sales metrics, executing operational initiatives, controlling expenses, handling personnel issues, implementing merchandising initiatives, and applying company policies throughout the district. Market Directors are ultimately responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service throughout their stores by constantly improving the capability of their team. A Market Director is a role model, leader, solves problems, makes informed decisions, and leads the workforce wisely to achieve maximum results. The Market Director must demonstrate strong leadership skills and develop, implement, and manage programs and processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic and high-energy environment, is results-driven, and can be counted on to exceed goals with integrity. Part of the field leadership team, the Market Director will work directly with the Vice President of Sales.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

● Responsible for driving sales and profitability in a District of 4 to 8 stores and 12 to 36 team members.

● Continue to promote and institute the company culture of excellence across the team.

● Lead, mentor, and coach Retail Sales Consultants and Retail Store Managers to achieve Key Performance Indicators.

● Develop and foster strong relationships with AT&T leadership.

● Provide feedback to Sales Director and Corporate Office concerning marketing needs, product development and business opportunities.

● Promote stores and build customer awareness in the local market.

● Network, recruit, and train Retail Sales Consultants and Retail Store Managers.

● Partner with HR and Recruiting departments to align on logistics for newly hired employees and completion of training and onboarding plans.

● Manage, influence, and support all store-based personnel to achieve company goals and objectives.

● Be capable of performing job duties of all positions in reporting chain as needed.

● Ensure training completion rate at or above goal for both Internal and AT&T driven initiatives.

● Work with district and store managers to identify sales behavior opportunities and training initiatives to develop the appropriate skill sets needed by the team.

● Attend district and regional meetings to develop quarterly business plans and identify additional training needs.

● Drive engagement and develop a culture of recognition within stores and districts by creating sustainable processes and succession plans.

● Drive performance in all customer service KPIs through communication, recognition, training, store observations and accountability measures.

● Collaborate with leadership to develop reinforcement and sustainment activities to ensure the success of newly hired employees.

Position Requirements

● Three (3) years of professional training experience.

● Three (3) years of experience in wireless retail or related leadership experience.

● 1 Year Management Experience, Multi-unit Preferred.

● Proven leadership ability.

● Experience in coaching teams.

● Experience in hiring and training employees.

● A proven track record of exceeding sales objectives.

● Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.

● Strong organizational skills.

● General office skills.

● Passion to uphold the values of TS Mobility through a service-oriented mindset and willingness to promote growth of self, colleagues, and company.

● Displays organized, innovative thinking to strategically solve problems.

● Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to perform effectively as a member of a team.

● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, but also in a team environment.

● Strong understanding of performance management and coaching techniques.

● Strong understanding of Adult & Millennial Learning Principles.

● Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Excel is required.

● Expert Communication skills.

● High School Diploma/GED.

● This position supports a retail sales organization so weekend hours and travel may be required.

● Ability to travel.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
