Job description
Serves as advisor and consultant to business units identifying financial solutions through financial institutions and software providers. Leverages strong networking skills to engage and interact with multiple Treasury teams and internal and external stakeholders to drive strategy and expansion of enterprise solutions. Represents multiple Treasury departments in complex efforts and projects spanning many functional areas. Is a role model and mentor for teammates by supporting the development of their capabilities.
The ideal candidate will be located near one of our main offices: Portsmouth, NH, Boston, MA, Seattle, WA, or Plano, TX - work model would be hybrid.
Remote candidates may be considered based on experience.
The compensation for this role is dependent on experience and geographic location of candidate.
Responsibilities:
  • Manages and executes complex cross-functional projects that are non-cyclical and varied, aligning with the project management life cycle (initiating/defining; planning; executing; close-out) and supporting business priorities, while keeping compliance controls top of mind.
  • Leads collaboration and partnerships with business unit(s) to conceptualize immediate and long-range priorities to achieve business results through advising on Treasury, financial institution, and software provider processes and solutions to assist in reaching goals.
  • Develops technical expertise and supports collaboration between Product Owners and operational Treasury teams to implement new technologies supporting business outcomes.
  • Independently conducts complex analysis and can quantify results to speak to trends or problem solve.
  • Provides technical and analytical assessments of current issues facing Treasury and business stakeholders to uncover actionable insights to solve problems and lead to improvements. Manage vendor relationships.
  • Engage and negotiate (SLA's, contracts, etc.) with external agencies/organizations such as financial institutions and software providers, to evaluate and implement products on behalf of Treasury and business unit(s).
  • Supports the Treasury strategy by consulting with business unit(s).
  • Drives and supports business unit(s) strategies, as related to Treasury, when necessary engages with executives.
  • Serves as formal and informal mentor of employees across Treasury on a variety of topics.
  • Fosters development of Treasury teammates by coaching and shaping assignments to advance the capabilities of the Treasury organization.
  • Builds a culture of innovation to continuously improve processes to ensure work is performed in the most efficient and effective means possible.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree (Finance or Accounting) required
  • Minimum of 7 years of Finance/Treasury experience
  • Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify new areas of opportunity and make recommendations to leaders on future strategies
  • Communicates effectively with all levels of the organization and builds diverse partnerships to deliver value to customers while minimizing conflict
  • Raises new ideas and is comfortable making persuasive presentations to medium to large audiences as champion of the project`s objectives
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills to promote discussion while fostering collaboration within the team and with other areas of the organization
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to drive results
