Associate Trade Show and Conference Coordinator

POWER Engineers Inc. is seeking an Associate Trade Show and Conference Coordinator for our Power Delivery Marketing and Proposal Development department. This position coordinates and supports trade shows, sponsorships, memberships, events and related marketing activities for the Power Delivery Division.

Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Coordinating 30-40, small-to-medium industry events including shipments, reservations and other logistics
• Coordinating the development of digital marketing tools, such as promotional emails, landing pages and mobile app content
• Facilitating team meetings, including preparing meeting agendas and minutes
• Planning and organizing client engagement events associated with trade shows and conferences
• Tracking and submitting paperwork for payment processing, such as purchase orders, requisitions and invoices
• Supporting other coordinators and events

Required Education/Experience

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments
• Execution-focused strengths and skills
• Ability to monitor and adhere to multiple, sometimes concurrent deadlines and to prioritize tasks based on shifting needs
• Must have detailed and meticulous recordkeeping abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal management and staff as well as external clients and vendors
• Able to work regular business hours with occasional overtime
• Willing to travel to a trade show occasionally, but travel will be a small part of this position

Preferred Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or 4-5 years of relevant experience
• Preference given to applicants with two (2) or more years’ experience planning and coordinating B2B participation in trade shows/conferences/events
• Experience with project management software a plus
• Experience in A/E/C industry a plus
