Minimum

  • Two-year Associate’s degree in Engineering or 4 years of project management experience in similar industry
  • Above average proficiency in computer literacy and applications, i.e. MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to produce quality results
  • Excellent project management and organization skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and be multi-talented to meet aggressive time schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • NICET Level I Certification
  • Knowledge of NYC Building codes & NFPA fire alarm codes preferred
  • OSHA SST Card

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review project status with HRFS Project Engineer.
  • Strategize the most optimal way to complete job, i.e. creating and implementing a project plan.
  • Develop project plans with deliverables and milestones, costs, assigned resources, and schedules and lead project management and execution to meet or exceed project objectives.
  • Communicate and coordinate with clients and FSMs on job scope and report on progress on a regular basis.
  • Conduct regular On-site Status Project Review appropriately to provide quality assurance and technical support to client and HRFS Technician.
  • Inquire about and document drawing numbers with revision dates of any changes or job additions/deletions to facilitate the amendments for the final documents of record.
  • Provide Sales Department with any changes through RFP and record on commissioning progress report log.
  • Identify code issues and non-conformance issues, and make recommendations on alternative solutions to client/office.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, materials used, and communicate any problem encountered or identified with the alarm system on work order.
  • Manage and maintain smooth working relationships with contractors, clients, architects, 3rd party vendors, and engineers.
  • Conduct NYFD pre-test inspection.
