New Rockstars - Associate Producer Role
New Rockstars, a YouTube channel dedicated to unpacking the details of the internet's nerdy obsessions, is hiring a full-time Associate Producer! Familiarity with IP like Marvel, DC, and Star Wars is ideal. We push a lot of content out the door each week, so a keen attention-to-detail and a nose for potential issues are high priorities. Candidates must be in Los Angeles and willing to commute to Burbank daily. Some of the ideal qualifications for this role are listed below as well as a description of this position’s daily responsibilities.
New Rockstars Associate Producer Duties
* Pre-Production of Show
* Assist in daily rundown meeting w/ cast to present the day’s pitches and outline
* Updates chatbot and widgets before livestream begins (show specific)
* Talk with Graphics dept to prep any graphics for show
* Rundown Graphics and board before the show begins to catch errors
* Execute the script as a whole based on producer outline
* Work with producer to coordinate and book regular and freelance guests
* Coordination and Production of Live Show
* Communicates superchats & poll results to in-studio hosts
* interacts with chat community, run polls and moderates chat
* Handles & executes live overlay element
* After show duties
* Adds timestamps to video description and endcard to video
* Update the analytics spreadsheet
Ideal Skills/Qualifications
* Being able to work in a fast pace environment
* Working well with a team
* Familiarity with programs such as Photoshop, Adobe Premiere are a bonus
* Familiarity with google programs such as docs and sheets
* Previous experiences as an associate producer
* Ability to juggle more than one task at a time
Hours are typically standard business hours (with flexibility to start earlier/later depending on the show needs for the day), but we do occasionally work on weekends to cover big releases (i.e. Spider Man: No Way
Home). Our WFH policies are continually revisited as the scope of the pandemic fluctuates, however with this position 99% of the work will be done in office at our Burbank location. Benefits include health, dental, and insurance + 401k account. Salary range is between $60K-$65K depending on experience.
