JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facility Management
  • Regularly assess the needs of all facilities and provide support and follow through resident assistants and managers. Be on duty and consistently available to residents as scheduled. Coverage includes, but is not limited to, evenings until 8:00 pm and a posted schedule will be available and updated on a weekly basis.
  • Complete all duty tasks in their entirety (i.e. rounds, reporting maintenance issues, etc.)
    • Report via proper channels any maintenance issues (work orders) observed or received by residents
    • Make timely suggestions for upkeep and improvements of facility to manager
  • Respond to all emergencies (i.e. fire alarms, natural disasters, etc.)
  • Participate in Health & Safety Inspections of resident spaces as requested by supervisor, observing privacy protocol
  • Responsible for common area cleaning if living on property.
  • Maintain key inventory for all rooms and properties.
  • Coordinate and manage transportation at Montage Big Sky associate housing properties.
Relationship Management
  • Maintain a respectful, appropriate and professional demeanor during all interactions with residents, managers and supervisors and all Montage Big Sky staff.
  • Be a role model by exhibiting appropriate and acceptable personal behavior if living on-site (i.e. observe all rules including quiet hours, overnight guest policy, no smoking, no excessive use of alcohol, etc.)
  • Maintain positive working relationships with residents, vendors, peers, supervisors and all other Montage Big Sky staff.
  • Positively represent the role of all housing and People staff with residents
  • Regularly assess the needs of housing residents. Maintain confidentiality appropriately with information presented.
  • Immediately respond to and report per protocol any threats or gestures of personal harm or reports of assault.
  • Make timely suggestions for improving the resident experience to manager .
  • Perform property walk through with each property assistant to ensure the properties are to standard.
Policy Enforcement
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowled.ge of Montage Big Sky and Staff Housing rules, policies and procedures
  • Address and document (when necessary) any resident behavior that is inappropriate or in violation of policy.
  • Enforce housing policies consistently and deal with uncomfortable situations in a fair and professional manner; seek assistance if necessary.
Administrative Tasks
  • Complete incident reports promptly, accurately and concisely .
  • Maintain regular communication with People Manager & Director concerning facility and resident issues.
  • Accurately perform all assignment/occupancy tasks to maintain accountability for residents (i.e. inventories, check-in/outs, occupancy counts, etc.)
  • Check email and phone messages consistently to ensure that you are up-to-date with information and postings.
  • Submit all informational material for posting, newsletter, etc. to People Manager for editing and formatting and approval before distribution to residents .
  • Assist with check-in/check-out of residents and room inspections.
  • Create and manage budget for Department.
  • Utilize software for housing functions.
  • Utilize Procurement program for all purchase orders.
  • Communicate with accounting for all billing and month end close.
  • Manage complex external relationships including landlords, vendor contract negotiations and issue resolution.
  • Develop associate housing strategy to support the Company’s short- and long-term business needs for growth and scalability that aligns with future vision.
  • Create a safe, fun and diverse housing culture that helps provide employees an experience of a lifetime.
  • Responsible for all associate housing policies, procedures and compliance.
  • Conduct housing orientations.
Additional Tasks
  • Balancing rent deductions and all associated financial information with Payroll .
  • Complete timely check-outs with accounting for deposit receipts and refunds, Process refunds through payroll when available.
  • Hire, train, supervise and evaluate the housing team each season
  • Create shuttle schedule and schedule of shuttle drivers, ensure that shuttles are maintained and operating as scheduled.
  • Assist with any People functions as requested
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS:
  • You can live onsite if you would like, however, this is not a requirement.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record and able to drive company vehicles in all weather conditions as needed
  • Must be extremely organized with an acute attention to detail
  • Must be able to remain calm and organized under pressure
  • Must be able to work positively with a variety of personalities
  • Must possess outstanding communication skills
  • Must be committed to outstanding internal guest service
  • Must be proficient in computer skills and use of various software programs
  • Must be accurate in accounting procedures
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
