We are seeking an Associate, FP&A to join the Brookfield Properties U.S. Office Division in New York city. In this role, you will play a key role in inspiring change and continual improvement. Role & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review meeting materials for quarterly portfolio board meetings including leasing continuity, capital project management, quarterly valuations and analysis of portfolio acquisitions, dispositions and financing activity
  • Support data validation, reporting and analysis for Brookfield procurement initiative, partnering with finance and operations team members from both Office as well as other Operating Companies within Brookfield
  • Help drive formulation of US Office private funds business plan by partnering with regional asset management teams on latest market assumptions that reflect the key strategic initiatives for the Company
  • Lead quarterly analysis and reporting of FFO, cash flows, earnings and returns for select group of assets, preparing variance commentary on changes vs. budget and prior quarter
  • Assist in management and reporting of General & Administrative expenses, working closely to ensure proper accounting treatment of actuals, accruals and quarterly allocations
  • Actively participate in various ad hoc exercises, group initiatives and special projects pertaining to US Office operating assets
  • Communicates clearly and concisely to drive high quality, accurate, and efficient results (written and verbal)
  • Ability to develop strong rapport with stakeholders and build an organizational network to use in support of achieving objectives
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast paced environment while handling multiple projects
  • Employs excellent interpersonal skills for effective team communication and project management
Your Qualifications:
  • Minimum Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with strong GPA
  • 2-4 years of related experience
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI a plus
  • Experience with finance/accounting software such as OneStream, Hyperion, SAP, Yardi or Oracle
  • Demonstrated investigative, solution, and detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast paced environment while handling multiple projects
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team in a deadline driven environment

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Type: Exempt/Non-exempt
Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
Annual Base Salary Range: $100,000-$105,000
Medical & Pharmacy Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan
Dental Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan
Vision Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan
Retirement: 401(k)
