As an Associate Financial Advisor at Legacy Accounting & Financial Services you will have the opportunity to focus on providing real-life, impactful solutions to our clients.

Position Summary

Our Firm is looking for a self-motivated candidate to help support the practice and assist financial advisors in the delivery of comprehensive financial planning services. The ideal candidate will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics along with legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others. The Associate Financial Advisor is responsible for understanding Firm policies, procedures, and digital capabilities that will allow them to assist our team as well as new and existing clients. Applicant must aspire to be a fully Licensed Financial Advisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and process applications and paperwork from start to finish
• Understand compliance, reviewing for completeness before submission and track pending business paperwork
• Make and process trades for clients
• Maintain Firm and client files
• Assist Advisors in client meetings
• Industry research and client analysis of their financial plan
• Contact clients to maintain and enhance relationships
• Update and use Firm CRM system to manage tasks, scheduling, follow-up, and new client entry
• Answer phone calls, assist with customer service and client needs, and schedule meetings
• Complete special projects as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Series 7 and 66, or the ability to obtain within six months upon hire
• Life insurance license, or the ability to obtain within six months upon hire
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Motivated and driven; volunteer for new challenges, and committed to professional growth
• Expert problem solver and communicator
• Thrive in an environment where technology is at the forefront
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to build rapport with a cross section of clients
• Comfortable working with Firm’s Centers of Influence
• Excellent interpersonal skills and pleasant, positive demeanor
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
