OBJECTIVE: Establish partnerships with college and university institutions of higher education to create strategies that increase transfer student recruitment engagement and scholarship development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Target, build, and maintain relationships with new and returning senior institutions by soliciting and selling PTK Connect subscriptions, quote subscription prices, and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.

Maximize senior institution engagement with Phi Theta Kappa recruitment aids through the sale of bundle deals, a la carte PTK Connect purchases and PTK scholarship designations.

Research, create and deploy strategies with enrollment management firms to increase the number of new senior institutions subscribing to PTK Connect and engaging with PTK’s recruitment aids.

Coordinate annual scholarship updates with senior institution partners, including scholarship details and contact information maintenance.

Manage the Transfer Honor Roll program and increase the number of senior institutions completing transfer profiles on PTK Connect.

Eager to travel to professional conferences to promote brand and facilitate presentations/demos for the purpose of prospecting new partnerships.

Operate in Central Time Zone hours from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm CT.

Coordinate and develop webinars, virtual transfer fairs, and interactive learning and training opportunities to support strategic use of PTK Connect, Phi Theta Kappa designated transfer scholarships, Transfer Honor Roll, Convention engagement, and other transfer programming.

Support a culture of service by analyzing and exceeding customers’ needs, recommending solutions, and resolving customer problems.

Support implementation of the strategic plan.

Requirements:


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Three years of college admissions and/or 2- and 4-year transfer pathways experience required.
  • Five years of related experience required, preferably in higher education and/or software arenas sales.
  • Knowledge of college recruitment market trends, customer satisfaction, and emerging trends.
  • Proven formal presentation skills before both small and large audiences.
  • Occasional travel required (not to exceed 10%).
  • Professional written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be proactive, self-motivated, and willing to assume initiative without constant supervision.
  • Examine data to grasp issues, draw conclusions, and solve problems.
  • Clearly conveys and receives information and ideas.
  • Values and promotes diversity through equitable practices and inclusion of others.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This work environment is an office-like setting with moderate noise.

  • Physical Exertion: The incumbent may frequently be required to lift approximately 10 pounds and/or occasionally up to 25 pounds.
  • Vision: The incumbent must possess close, midrange, distance and peripheral vision; as well as the ability to identify colors, judge distances and adjust focus.
  • Speaking/Hearing: The incumbent must be able to give and receive information through speaking and listening.
  • Motor Coordination: The incumbent in this position is frequently required to: use their hands and reach with their hands and arms. The incumbent is occasionally required to: stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch or bend.
